- legacy information retained in offline backups, such as historical high scores and contact information for players who subscribed to Game Weasel.
Bad Weasel Games does not store full payment card numbers. Payment card details are processed by payment providers such as Stripe, Apple, or other payment platforms.
Cookies And Similar Technologies
Bad Weasel Games websites and web-based games may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar browser technologies. These technologies may store information directly in your browser, or they may store an identifier that connects your browser to information kept on Bad Weasel Games servers.

Bad Weasel Games may store purchase records, Stripe receipts, Stripe customer identifiers, checkout identifiers, subscription status, payment status, Apple receipt or entitlement information that Apple makes available, license plans, activation records, renewal periods, device install IDs used for license activation, and related business records.
Payment providers may retain payment methods, card details, transaction records, receipts, account information, fraud-prevention information, and other payment data under their own privacy policies and terms. Bad Weasel Games does not control those providers' privacy practices.
Game Center And Platform Services
Some Bad Weasel Games mobile apps may use Apple Game Center or other platform services. When those services are used, Apple or the platform provider may collect and process account, device, gameplay, purchase, diagnostic, leaderboard, achievement, and platform information under its own privacy policy and terms.
Bad Weasel Games may have access to Game Center information made available through Apple, including leaderboard scores and related player information. Bad Weasel Games does not control Apple's data practices.
Children
Bad Weasel Games websites, general-audience games, accounts, marketing lists, and paid web services are not directed to children under 13, even if some games may be suitable for all ages or available to all ages through an app store or website.
Account registration, website purchase flows, marketing lists, and paid web services are intended for adults, parents, guardians, or users who are old enough to provide their own personal information. Children under 13 should not create accounts, join marketing lists, make purchases, or provide personal information to Bad Weasel Games through general-audience services unless a parent or guardian has provided consent or is managing the interaction.
Bad Weasel Games does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through its general-audience services. If Bad Weasel Games learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, Bad Weasel Games will review and delete the information where appropriate.
Bad Weasel Games may use cookies or similar technologies for ordinary website or service operations, such as security, authentication, preferences, fraud prevention, debugging, and site reliability. Bad Weasel Games does not knowingly use children's personal information for targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, or non-educational profiling.

Marketing communications may use contact information from current systems or from legacy offline backups, including contact information for players who subscribed to Game Weasel.

Legacy And Offline Backup Information
The former Game Weasel High Score System is no longer operational and is no longer collecting data. Bad Weasel Games may retain offline backups containing historical or legacy information from that former system. These backups may include historical high scores and contact information for players who subscribed to Game Weasel.
Offline backups are retained for business continuity, historical records, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and limited marketing records where permitted by law. Bad Weasel Games will use reasonable efforts to locate and address legacy information when responding to a privacy request, subject to technical and legal limits.
Service Providers
Bad Weasel Games may use service providers to host websites and databases, process payments, manage subscriptions, send email, provide analytics if enabled, operate platform services, maintain security, provide support, and store business records.
Service providers may include Apple, Stripe, Cloudflare, web hosting providers, database providers, email delivery providers, infrastructure providers, analytics providers if enabled, and customer support or business tools.
When a service provider handles information for Bad Weasel Games, that provider is expected to use the information only to provide the relevant service.
Security
Bad Weasel Games maintains a cybersecurity program aligned to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and scaled to the size of Bad Weasel Games and the information it controls.
Bad Weasel Games uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account, purchase, licensing, support, marketing, website, and business information. These safeguards may include account security, access limits, software updates, encrypted transport, backups where applicable, vendor review, incident response procedures, and periodic security review.
No app, website, server, database, backup, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Data Breach Response
Bad Weasel Games maintains a written data breach response process. If Bad Weasel Games confirms a breach involving personal information that Bad Weasel Games controls, Bad Weasel Games will take appropriate steps to investigate, contain, remediate, document, and provide notices required by applicable law or applicable written agreements.
Data Retention
